• Duo-Ply Belts

Duo-Ply belts are designed to the highest standards with the aim of lowering energy cost of our valued customers. These belts show outstanding strength as to provide the same endurance to elongation and impact as 4-5 ply belts. The fact that these high tensile strength belts contain only two plies make it suitable for the application as it is much lighter in weight, compared to the multi-ply belts. They present not only weight advantage but also thickness advantage, which allows for more convenient pulley diameter requirement than those of thicker multi-ply belts. These belts are manufactured in accordance with the minimum-ply concept. As long as the conveyor system is suitable for it, Derby recommends lowering the number of plies to raise the energy efficiency of the plant. Further information on the belt specs and your system’s compatibility can be assisted by our technical team upon your request. These belts are available for all cover grades, including heat resistant, flame resistant, oil resistant, acid resistant and cold resistant.

Advantages

  • Lower Energy Cost
  • Extraordinary Impact Resistance
  • Superior Rip. Tear Resistance
  • Lighter in Weight : Operational Convenience
  • Better Troughability
  • Impeccable Load Support
  • Trio-Ply Belts

Trio-Ply belts are constructed with three fabric plies. Trio-ply belts are available for tensile strengths, starting from 400 to 1900 N/mm. These belts are specifically resilient to impact and tear due to its thicker skin rubber construction. If the drum diameter is suitable, 3 ply belts are recommended for belts up to 1900 N/mm. These belts are available for all cover grades, including heat resistant, flame resistant, oil resistant, acid resistant and cold resistant.

  • Multi-PlMulti Ply Belts

For belt lines carrying coarse materials falling from big heights or causing a great amount of impact on the belt, we offer Multiply belts with more than 3 layers. These belts are suitable for aggregate/bulk-material handling as they are resistant to the great amount of force. The extra durability is maintained with a carefully structured carcass, showing very low elongation. They can be manufactured from 3 to 6 plies, starting from EP 500 up to EP 3600. These belts are available for all cover grades, including heat resistant, flame resistant, oil resistant, acid resistant and cold resistant.

  • PP Belts (Polyamide/Polyamide)

In general, EP belts are preferred due to the low elongation characteristic of the polyamide warp. As an alternative, some applications require polyamide/polyamide construction of the belt. PP belts are available for all cover grades, including different Abrasion resistant grades, Heat resistant, Flame resistant, Oil resistant, Acid resistant or Cold resistant.
